Born on August 16, 1961, in Barakin Ladi, Plateau State, he graduated from Baptist High School Jos in 1978 and later earned multiple theological degrees: a Diploma in Theology in 1987, a Bachelor of Theology in 1993, a Master of Theology in 1995 from Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, and a PhD in Practical Theology from the University of Edinburgh. He served as Pastor at Christ Baptist Church, Lagos for 12 years and as Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church, Abuja for 22 years. Additionally, he was a Graduate Assistant for 2 years at the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary and is recognized as a speaker, book reviewer, and author of several articles and books, including "The Prayers of Paul." His accolades include various awards in theology and peace building, such as the Mandela Peace and Development Award.
